The Board of Directors of a Fire Protection District may appoint committees for specific purposes such as:

• Draft and recommend equipment or apparatus specifications
• Determine potential locations for future facilities
• Research and recommend ballot issues such as a bond election

Committees of a Fire Protection District must follow the Missouri Sunshine Law.

At this time, there are no committees of the Tightwad Fire Protetion District.
