Policies and Rules of Order
The Tightwad Fire Protection District Board of Directors by a majority vote adopts policies and administrative procedures which:
- Provide authority, defines responsibilities & reduces ambiguities
- Ensure compliance & encourages consistency
- Provide direction/guidance & serves as training tool
- Build transparency
- Reduce risk & build risk-consciousness
The Board of Directors also adopts special rules of order and standing rules.
Special and standing rules of order, policies, and administrative procedures remain in effect until rescinded or amended by the Tightwad Fire Protection DIstrict Board of Directors.
The District Manager, Privacy Officer, and Information Security Officer roles listed in the District's polices and practices has not yet been approved and any reference to these roles in the District's policies and practices shall mean the Special Master.
